Application Process

Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. CREST program aims to offer upto seven (7) 2023-24 SFS scholarships (3 BS, 3 MS, 1 PhD) contingent on the receipt of competent applications.

Students who are interested in applying for the NSF CyberCorps® Scholarship for Service (SFS) Program at USF must provide the following as part of their application process:

• Apply online: Online Application
• Two (2) letters of recommendations from faculty, staff, or employers
• Include a CV that includes work experience, key skills, honors/awards, GPA
• Include official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended (scan of official copies are fine during the application, hard copies should be provided if selected)
• Write a statement of purpose (500 words max.) describing professional, personal, academic goals, commitment to SFS program, and how the program will help achieve these goals
